భారత సైన్యానికి ‘సమర్థ్‌’ దార్శనికత.. సాంకేతికతపై జనరల్‌ ధీరజ్‌ సేఠ్‌ కీలక వ్యాఖ్యలు

Chief of the Army Staff General Dhiraj Seth has stressed the need for the Indian Army to build sustained long-term combat capability. He called for continuous modernisation in response to changing methods of warfare and said technology should help soldiers access better information and make faster decisions. He outlined the ‘SAMARTH’ vision to strengthen operational preparedness, stressing that the Army must improve its capabilities faster than emerging threats evolve.

General Dhiraj Seth explained that ‘SAMARTH’ stands for Sustainability, Adaptation, Modernisation and Mission-Ready, Acceleration, Resilience, Technology, and Human-Machine Teaming. He emphasised integrating technology with existing weapon systems and strengthening capabilities through artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, robotics and drones. Recent defence initiatives have similarly focused on technological transformation and emerging technologies for future military requirements.
